Mapping the Unseen
3 Navigational Insights
You Have a Process (Even if You Can't See It). Every artist has their own steps for going from an idea to a finished piece; mapping them out is the key to repeatable success.
Momentum Lives in the Transitions. When you map your process, you can see exactly where you usually get stuck, allowing you to build bridges over those gaps and to stay out of inertia (or even worse, the depression at the end of a project when you have to start all over again).
The Forgotten Phase: Celebration! Most artists finish a project and immediately hunt for the next one. Ärtful living requires you to pause and celebrate your wins to avoid burnout and to recognize what you’ve accomplished and how far you’ve come.

Draft Your Pre-Production Phase. Write down the first three things you do when a new idea strikes (e.g., sketching, ideation, or gathering supplies). Seeing them on paper turns a "vibe" into a system that you can use to your advantage.
