The Energy of Collaboration

3 Navigational Insights

  1. Not All Income is Created Equal. A "Misaligned Client" who pays little and asks for a lot isn't just a financial drain; they are an energy leak that prevents you from doing your best work.

  2. Great Clients Are Expansive. The right collaborators make you feel confident and creative, cherishing your input rather than just viewing you as a vendor.

  3. Releasing to Receive. When you have the courage to transition misaligned clients, vendors, or collaborators off your list, you open the door for more "Great" clients who align with your values, energize you, and provide an opportunity for you to create your best work.

1 Coordinate

"When we let go of something, it opens the door for new things to come into our lives—often better and more aligned than what we released."

1 Aligned Action

Perform a Mini Client Audit. Think of your current list and identify one Great Client (fun to work with, pays well) and one Misaligned Client (depletes your energy). Write down one trait that differentiates each of them so you can recognize it in future collaborations.
